RE: Termination of Service – Get Out

Well, it has been an interesting run, hasn’t it? Full of staring contests with a blank page or a blank screen and the persistent, low hum of doubt. But honestly, this relationship is not working for me.

I have realized you are not some protective sentinel guarding me from bad writing; you’re just a liar wearing the costume of fear. And frankly, I have better things to do than listen to you. I have thoughts to share, characters to meet, worlds to build, and deadlines to smash.

Consider your tenure with me officially over. I am taking back my creativity, one messy, imperfect, and brilliant word at a time. I’m replacing you with Action, Inspiration, and a healthy dose of ‘I don’t care if it’s perfect right now.’

I want to write and now I will write. I will ignore all your efforts to plant any more seeds of doubt in my mind because I believe in myself and I am totally done with you.

Don’t call me. Don’t write. Don’t even think about showing up at my writing desk.

Farewell forever.

Never yours,

MS
