Friendship and feelings. These two words always go hand in hand. Because what are friends if we cannot share our feelings with them.

It is widely believed that we choose our friends and make them part of our lives. But, I believe that even though we get to choose our friends, the Universe makes sure that we meet the right person at the right time.

Otherwise how do you explain that one girl living in another building happens to meet you in the common room to watch some TV and you start talking and end up becoming roommates and then friends for life? If it’s not the Universe then how do your paths meet?

You meet your person in your best friend. They are the ones who will never judge you. Even when you find yourself straying from the right path. They will have your back, they will help you pick up the pieces and rebuild your life. They will let you rant on and on without interrupting you and they will always have the right solution for all your problems.

When you are overwhelmed with your feelings, they make you calm down and refocus on your life.

I have been very lucky that I have some of the very best people as my best friends in my life. They have never left my side even when I was practically not in contact with them for a very long time.

They are always there to listen to me, help me feel the feels when I need to and make sense of my world. They understand my silence. And they are forever ready to drill sense into me, even if they have to yell at me or be harsh to me. And yes, we share so many memes on a regular basis 😉.

Friends are for life. Friends are life.
