Bye Bye 2023

As the year comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the moments of joy, the lessons learned, and the challenges overcome. Thank you for the growth, the friendships, and the opportunities that shaped this chapter of my life. Here’s to the memories and experiences that will forever be cherished.

2023 has been a mixed year for me. It has been difficult at times but super fun too. Professionally some days were very tough but mostly it has been rewarding. And personally, there have been more ups than downs.

My Little Miss has been showing some progress and that is heartening for us as parents. Her love for pizza continues which is good for me too ๐Ÿ˜‰. We also went on a big holiday after more than three years. It was so much fun and relaxing; maybe I’ll force another family holiday next year.

The Holiday!

Reading-wise, I completed 24 books this year. I wanted to reach 30 books but by mid-year I realised that if I wanted to read the books properly I’ll have to stick with two books per month and so I did. Some of these books have been amazing and a few were boring but I read quite a few good books this year.

For one, I finished all of Carol Wyer’s Natalie Ward series. And now I’m waiting for the next book to be published. Me vs Brain by Hayley Morris was a fun read; I definitely recommend this one. Her book is as funny as her Instagram reels. Also, I gifted myself the MinaLima edition of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on Diwali for my HP collection. It is so so beautiful.

And now we are almost in 2024! Just like most people, I am also going to make a resolution. I am going to be less anxious about the future this year. That’s it. And yes, I have to read some more books.
