I wish.. The age-old phrase “I wish” – a whimsical utterance that often leads us down paths of fantasy and folly.

“I wish I could eat unlimited pizza without consequences!” Who hasn’t had this fleeting dream after devouring one too many slices? Alas, reality rudely reminds us of the consequences of such indulgence. Perhaps we’ll settle for a compromise: a salad garnished with wishful thinking.

“I wish this holiday never ends.” Well, you do have to get back to work; whether it’s after a week or a fortnight or a month. Sorry about that. Maybe you can wish for another holiday soon! 😉

“I wish I could win the lottery!” Oh, the dreams of extravagant mansions, luxury vacations, and endless shopping sprees. Reality check: more chance of befriending a unicorn. But hey, who needs lottery winnings when you’ve got Netflix and a blanket fort?

“I wish I had a personal assistant to handle my adulting.” Ah, the allure of never-ending chores and responsibilities. Wouldn’t life be grand with a sidekick to tackle the laundry, sort the bills, and navigate the tangled web of adulthood? Alas, we’ll just have to rely on good old-fashioned procrastination.

“I wish I never had to go to work.” Well, you may want to take a look at those credit card bills and the gas bills before thinking of dumping your job! Ain’t nobody gonna pay you money for not going to work.
