The rainbow. Nature’s greatest light show, happening right after a storm. But what are the seven colors of the rainbow, really? Let’s break them down.

Red – The Bold and the Loud

Red is the colour that demands attention. It’s the life of any party, the neon sign, the loudmouth in the room. Whether it’s a firetruck, a tomato, or that one angry emoji, red never goes unnoticed. If red were a person, it would be that friend who shows up to a quiet dinner and immediately starts talking about their new project, their new gym routine, or their rant.

Orange – The Overenthusiastic Optimist

Orange is the colour that’s like, “Let’s all just be happy and eat an orange!” It’s like red’s enthusiastic cousin, always peppy, never a dull moment. If orange were a person, it’d be the one who gives you unsolicited advice on how to meditate and tells you to drink more water, even though they may have not had even a glass of water since morning. Orange is sunshine wrapped in a fruit peel. And yes, we see you, orange traffic cones. You too are trying your best.

Yellow – The Colour of the Over-caffeinated

Yellow is bright, cheery, and possibly a little too much sometimes. It’s like that friend who’s always bouncing off the walls, wearing neon workout gear, and talking about their plans to become a motivational speaker (even though they’ve just gotten out of bed). If yellow were a color in the workplace, it would be that “Monday morning enthusiasm” that starts strong but quickly fades by 9:30 AM.

Green – The Calm, Chill Friend Who’s Always Asking “How are you really?”

Green is the colour of nature, tranquility, and the friend who has their life together. Green is stable, grounded, and just wants everyone to vibe in harmony. Green is peaceβ€”until it’s envious of your friend’s fancy new shoes. Then, it’s like “Why do they get all the attention?”

Blue – The Moody Yet Deep Thinker

Blue. The colour of the sky, the ocean, and the Indian cricket jerseys. It’s the cool, laid-back, calm colour. Blue might show up wearing sunglasses indoors, sipping iced coffee. Blue is the poet of the rainbowβ€”sometimes a little too brooding, but always worth listening to.

Indigo – The Mysterious One You Don’t Really Talk To

Indigo is a little elusive, kind of like that person at the party who you know is there, but you’re never quite sure if you’ve actually spoken to them or if they were just a figment of your imagination. It’s the colour that’s just too cool to explain itself.

Violet – The Royal Diva Who Knows How to Throw Shade

Violet is the royalty of the rainbow, the queen of elegance, and the one colour that can do no wrong. Violet will step into any room and suddenly, you are like, “Okay, I see you, royalty.” If violet were a person, it would be the one who always has the best designer outfits, hosts dinner parties, and gives you a look that could either be admiration or judgment (you’re not quite sure). Violet is that color who knows it’s better than you, but in a way that makes you want to be better, which is honestly kind of genius.

Together, they form a beautiful spectrum of personalities, much like the people you accidentally end up sitting next to at a weddingβ€”except they’re more colorful, and way less awkward.
